Brianna began her journey with acupuncture about eleven years ago. After battling a mysterious illness, she continued to struggle with relatively non-descript side effects that Western medicine could not find an answer for- and not for lack of testing/trying. Acupuncture was the next line of defense and treatment, and it turned her life around. It taught her the impact and interconnectedness that the mind, body and spirit have with each other, and to honor and listen to each of those aspects of the self.
Brianna graduated in 2011 from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, with a Minor in Business Studies. She immediately began studying acupuncture at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. The program involved more than 2,500 hours, and over half of those hours were interacting with and treating patients. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac) in the State of Colorado, and certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Brianna is a proud native Coloradoan. She grew up in Centennial, and lives with her husband in Aurora. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, family and friends. Her hobbies include taking walks, playing board games, watching her favorite sports teams, attending trivia nights, and reading.
Meagan Fong is Optimal Health Matter's amazing office manager and has been with us since November, 2018. She is the one who you will speak with on the phone when you call our clinic and is the smiling face who will greet you when you come in to see us. Meagan grew up in Southern California before moving to Colorado and has a background in Integrative Biology. When she's not here helping make our office run smoothly, you can find her working out at Backcounty CrossFit, hiking with her pups or camping with friends and family all summer, and skiing all winter. Her warmth, kindness and attention to detail are huge assets to our company and we appreciate everything she does for us on a daily basis. THANK YOU, Meagan!
